Patients taking nitrates should not receive sildenafil Citrate.

Cimetidine Tagamet Erythromycin KetoconazoleNizoral Itraconazole Sporanox and mibefradil Posicor can cause marked increases in the amount of sildenafil in the body. Patients taking these medications should be observed carefully if sildenafil is used.

It is expected that Rifampin will decrease blood levels of sildenafil and probably reduce its effectiveness.

In case if you miss your dose never double your dose in any case. But instead you may take the missed dose as soon as you remember. And if it is almost the time of your next dose for the day please skip the missed dose and continue to your particular required dose. And be careful to take your medicines on time.
